Barry Hitchcox studied Fine Art in Oxford and London, gaining a BA (Hons), before taking up photography, and this is reflected in his atmospheric images of the Exmoor coast and countryside.
He has worked in editorial photography, with commissions including Country Life and Reader's Digest, and has exhibited widely in his native Oxfordshire.
His interest and love of Exmoor began fifteen years ago on holiday in Winsford, with regular visits over the following years culminating, nine years ago, in a permanent move to the area.
